Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the planning and execution of day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing preventative maintenance programs, monitoring and driving improvements in maintenance activities, and developing training plans for technicians.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement CBM and Planned Maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Monitor and drive improvements in maintenance effectiveness, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) metrics.
  • Develop training plans and set goals for technicians to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Lead daily Tier 1.5 meetings to prioritize resources and maximize lens output while maintaining quality and safety compliance.
  • Own, monitor, report on, and implement improvements to increase equipment OEE.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop a predictive maintenance system.
  • Complete Quality and Safety CAPA activities to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in engineering/maintenance roles in high-volume industries with significant automation.
  • Supervisory Experience: 3+ years leading teams.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on experience in preventive/reactive maintenance and technician supervision/interaction.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of medical device/pharmaceutical production preferred (cGMP/FDA regulated environment).
  • Soft Skills: Self-directed with excellent communication skills.
