Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, developing applicable documentation and applying effective resources to support the assigned project.

This position involves maintaining and servicing a variety of HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with production supervisors to ensure maintenance work orders are completed safely and on time.

You will also use your expertise to diagnose mechanical and/or electrical problems, determine how to correct them, and apply knowledge of the functional operation of machinery.

Additionally, you will repair, replace or adjust defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and develop solutions
  • Maintain and service a variety of HVAC systems
  • Diagnose mechanical and/or electrical problems
  • Repair, replace or adjust defective equipment parts
  • Work with production supervisors to ensure maintenance work orders are completed safely and on time
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of commercial HVAC experience
  • Experience working with commercial boilers and CSD-1 testing
  • Experience working with commercial refrigeration
  • Experience repairing/replacing rooftop units
  • Experience repairing walk in coolers
  • A valid driver's license (no restrictions)
  • The ability to pass a background check
  • The ability to pass a DMV check (have a clean driving record) to be approved to drive company vehicles
