Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Logistics Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistical flows of material for various business operations, ensuring efficient storage and distribution in line with company needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of warehousing principles, and experience in operating ERP systems (SAP). They will also have training in forklift truck operation and be proficient in manual handling and lifting loads up to 25kg.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining stock records, controlling calibrated tools, and ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures. You will also be responsible for coordinating delivery notes, COSHH information, and certificates of conformance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage materials, including goods in, storing, packaging, dispatch, and returns
  • Carry out monthly inventory cycle counting
  • Maintain stock records for all material in the ERP System
  • Ensure all company Processes and Procedures are applied
  • Pick materials as per material planning requirements
  • Maintain consumable materials at minimum stock levels
  • Control of calibrated tools held by the project
  • Maintain records for all material handling equipment (forklift, telehandler & pallet trucks)
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of warehousing including following procedures
  • Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP)
  • Forklift Truck trained
  • Experience in organising and prioritising day-to-day material requirements
  • Ability to work alone and unsupervised
  • Ability to manual handle and lift loads up to 25kg
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of health & safety requirements for a warehouse environment
