Social Impact Liaison

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a civil society engagement programme focused on building coalitions, empowering community groups, and amplifying diverse perspectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in outreach, advocacy, or civil society engagement, with a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead outreach and relationship-building with civil society partners across democracy, human rights, environment, migration, youth, gender, and digital/tech.
  • Design and deliver engagement strategies, campaigns, and events with Irish and EU policymakers.
  • Create spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
  • Monitor and analyse civic space in the EU and share insights with partners.
  • Support coalition-building, fundraising proposals, and policy-linked programmes.
  • Represent the organisation at events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree, plus 3+ years experience in outreach, advocacy, or civil society engagement.
  • Experience at Senior Engagement or Engagement Officer level in a charity or NGO is essential.
  • Proven project management experience and ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Excellent organisational, relationship-building, and multitasking skills.
  • A self-starter with resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of EU affairs and policymaking, policy analysis and research skills, experience with EU funding programmes, and additional EU language skills.
