Job Title

The Person in Charge is responsible for leading a team of Social Care Professionals in delivering exceptional person-centred care.

Key Objectives:

  • Ensure highest quality standard of care for service users.
  • Empower persons with disabilities to achieve short- and long-term goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of professionals in delivering exceptional person-centred care.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to ensure high-quality standards of care.
  • Building strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Nursing Degree, registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or entitled to be so registered, OR
  • A Level 8 Degree in Social Care or CORU registration, AND
  • Minimum three year's Managerial Experience within the Health Sector, Hold a recognised Managerial Qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
