Job Title: Market Engagement Specialist

About the Role

This is a key opportunity to lead our market engagement strategy for a major transportation project in Dublin and Ireland. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for creating and developing market engagement trackers, managing daily interactions with stakeholders, and attending regular meetings with the supply chain management team.

  • Create and develop market sounding templates to be used across various departments.
  • Support the development of press releases for the supply chain function, collaborating with the communications team.
  • Manage project information notices (PINs) and their delivery dates, ensuring timely updates for the supply chain management team.

You will work closely with external vendors, industry groups, and the communications team to produce information packs for market events and prepare documents for external supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead market engagement activities, ensuring alignment on objectives with the supply chain management team.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and industry groups.
  • Ensure up-to-date market intelligence for procurement decision-making.
  • Support the publication of records of appointed major contractors and nominated contacts for SMEs seeking involvement in the project.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Project management experience working within the Irish construction industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the complete procurement contract management cycle.
  • A degree in engineering, construction, or a related subject matter, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum 8 years of experience in construction project management or market engagement.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish construction landscape.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office.
