Job Description:

The Platform Engineer III is a pivotal role within our engineering team, playing a key part in enhancing and supporting our digital sports platform. As a specialist in infrastructure skills and software engineering knowledge, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our robust engineering ecosystem.

This role combines the implementation of scalable platform infrastructure with the development of automation tools and effective CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise will enable us to streamline workflows, enhance system resilience, and deliver innovative products.

As a member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, product teams, and quant analysts to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions that advance product development.

In this role, you will also identify and implement continuous improvements to operational processes, documentation, monitoring, and alerting systems. Additionally, you will contribute actively to a culture of operational excellence, knowledge sharing, and best practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable platform infrastructure
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Implement and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in initiatives to improve platform security
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers and product teams
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements
  • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or related infrastructure roles
  • Application development experience (backend or frontend)
  • Practical experience in cloud-native environments
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code systems
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain CI/CD release pipelines
  • Experience with scripting and programming
  • Knowledge of observability tooling and chaos testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Positive attitude comfortable working in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity or previous experience within the sports betting industry
  • Experience supporting scalable, real-time, or event-driven systems
