Cpl Healthcare seeks an experienced theatre nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing - Theatre. This position requires a strong leader with expertise in resource management and staff development.

The successful candidate will join a leading orthopaedic hospital, coordinating resources within the Theatre to ensure safe care delivery and effective surgical services.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring the efficient utilisation of resources and capacity. Responsibilities include:

  • Service delivery
  • Resource management
  • Staffing and staff education
  • Risk and quality safety
  • Facilitating communication and professional clinical leadership
  • Developing services
  • Theatre scheduling portfolio creation
  • Maintaining an effective learning environment
  • Efficient management of human and financial resources

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the General Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by NMBI
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior nurse management within a theatre environment

Previous experience in private healthcare settings is advantageous, as is a qualification in Peri-operative Nursing. A Master's degree in healthcare management or equivalent is also desirable.
