We are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Food and Beverage department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of all food and beverage services for our valued guests.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably within a hotel setting. You will be responsible for providing efficient, prompt and courteous service to restaurant guests. Your duties will include serving orders promptly and accurately recording guest orders.

You will also be responsible for checking periodically with guests to see if they would like anything else, processing guest checks accurately and dealing with compliments and complaints, reporting them to the manager/supervisor as needed.

In addition, you will be responsible for arranging furniture in the restaurant area as needed, ensuring that the working area and station are stocked with mise-en-place and kept clean and tidy at all times.

You will also be required to maintain a thorough working knowledge of the restaurant menu, wine and beer list, and content of menu items to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales.
