Job Title: Market Intelligence and Investment Governance Expert

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain a structured approach to monitoring and analyzing developments across Irish and European energy markets.
    • Translate market insights into strategic briefings and commercial implications for investment pipeline and strategic direction.
    • Act as the primary liaison with external market and commercial advisors, ensuring inputs are effectively integrated into internal modeling and business case development.
    • Lead the preparation of high-quality investment materials, including business case summaries, financial assumptions, and risk assessments for internal governance processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in market intelligence, commercial analysis, or investment governance, ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or regulated sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and EU energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and investment mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting public sector investment processes (e.g. NewERA, NTMA bodies) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy project economics, regulatory filings, and state aid frameworks.
