We are seeking a skilled Market Analyst to join our team. This exciting role will involve monitoring and analyzing developments across Irish and European energy markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop in-depth analysis of market data to inform investment pipeline and strategic direction.
  • Communicate complex information to senior leaders and project teams through clear, concise reports.
  • Build relationships with external advisors to ensure effective integration of market intelligence into internal modeling and business case development.
  • Manage projects, scope, and deliverables with advisors to achieve consistent value across multiple workstreams.
  • Promote the preparation of high-quality investment materials, including financial models, risk assessments, and business case summaries.
  • Ensure documentation meets governance standards and reflects current market assumptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and align messaging.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases and dashboards of key market indicators, pricing assumptions, and benchmarks to support repeatable and transparent investment assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in market analysis, research, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
