Senior Operations and Asset Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations and Asset Management Professional to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the operation, development and enhancement of the power system and the wholesale electricity market.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in power system operations, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires a high degree of autonomy, with the ability to guide and influence others through developed skills of communication and diplomacy.

About the Role
  • Lead the delivery of operational planning, revenue metering and protection of the power system.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the safe and secure operation of the grid, including load flow studies and system analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance and grid enhancements can be accommodated in a timely manner.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in power system operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop and progress innovative proposals and solutions.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
