Senior Environmental Consultant Opportunity

A strategic leadership position is available for a seasoned environmental professional to manage and deliver complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental assessments for infrastructure, energy, and planning projects.
  • Provide expert technical input, peer review, and quality control of environmental reports and assessments.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through business development and proposal preparation.
  • Act as Project Director or Technical Lead on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Ensure timely project delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders on environmental matters.

Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years' experience in environmental consultancy, preferably in Ireland or the UK.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex EIA/SEA projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and EU environmental legislation and planning processes.
  • Excellent project management, client relationship, and commercial acumen skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIWEM, IEMA, IEEM).
