Job Title: Environmental Project Leader

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Project Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth of our environmental services, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across the company.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with senior staff to effectively execute assigned roles and deliver high-quality results
  • Manage and deliver individual projects from initial concept through to final completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Coordinate and prepare Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs), Appropriate Assessments (AAs), planning application documents, and other environmental assessment and monitoring reports
  • Provide specialist environmental technical support across the organisation
  • Liaise with clients to maintain strong working relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the development and preparation of project proposals and tenders
  • Oversee the implementation and compliance of regulatory consents and approvals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant environmental discipline
  • Post-graduate experience in an environmental or waste management role, ideally 5-7 years
  • Chartered status in a relevant discipline is desirable
  • Strong understanding of planning, environmental and waste management legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and preparing planning and licence/permit applications across a diverse range of projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible, collaborative, and effective team player
  • Excellent technical writing and reporting capabilities
