As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on VAT matters, identifying opportunities for VAT planning, and building a high-performing team around you.Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice on VAT matters to clients
  • Identifying and developing VAT planning strategies
  • Building and managing a team of VAT professionals
  • Monitoring work in progress and ensuring profitability
  • Raising awareness of VAT and promoting good practice
  • Liaising with partners and managers to ensure seamless delivery of VAT services
  • Providing training on VAT matters as required
  • Managing the VAT team and overseeing junior staff development
Requirements
  • CTA / ACA / ACCA qualification
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of VAT issues
  • Practical experience of VAT issues, either through tax or HMRC background
  • Experience in delivering tax projects and managing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tailor communication appropriately
  • Ability to work as part of a team across disciplines
