Product Safety Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Product Safety Specialist to join our team.
This role involves leading the development and execution of EU product recall strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will bring in-depth knowledge and expertise in product safety regulations and risk governance.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading EU product recall activities, including risk assessment, strategy development, and execution
- Developing and maintaining EU recall procedures and policies aligned with regulatory requirements
- Managing safety risks and driving initiatives to detect and prevent unsafe products on Amazon EU stores
- Defining policies and implementing compliance tools to ensure adherence to regulations and standards
- Owning analysis and risk assessment activities required to formulate global product safety policies
As a Product Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting customers from products that pose a risk to their safety. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain EU recall procedures and policies aligned with regulatory requirements
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations and standards through effective compliance tools and processes
- Analysis: Own analysis and risk assessment activities required to formulate global product safety policies
