Job Summary:

As a Product Safety Risk Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of EU product recall strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge and expertise in product safety regulations and risk governance. They must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills, strong customer obsession, and a track record of operating in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate EU product recall activities, including risk assessment, strategy development, and execution
  • Develop and maintain EU recall procedures and policies aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Manage safety risks and drive initiatives to detect and prevent unsafe products on Amazon EU stores
  • Define policies and implement compliance tools to ensure adherence to regulations and standards
  • Own analysis and risk assessment activities required to formulate global product safety policies
  • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for complex questions regarding optimal policies for scalable product safety decisions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Legal, Public Relations, Supply Chain, Customer Service) to ensure effective recall management worldwide
  • Implement and maintain recall monitoring systems and metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement in recall processes and procedures
