
Non-Board Company Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Company Secretary to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as maintaining accurate records and minutes.
This is a non-board position, requiring someone who can work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, commencing in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Filing and maintaining accurate records, including compliance with CRO, CRA, and RBO obligations
- Circulating board papers and attending meetings
- Maintaining the Register of Members and Directors
- Ensuring trustees are aware of their legal obligations and that we adhere to relevant codes
- Tracking progress on our Risk Register, Business Plan, and Strategic Plan
You will also be responsible for organizing and giving notices for AGMs and EGMs, and recording minutes.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
