Job Title:

  • Project Director

Job Summary:

The Charities Regulator is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead exciting and challenging projects and programmes for development and delivery.

About the Role:

  • Establish a project management office including policies and procedures.
  • Develop project plans, provide support to other project teams, and manage project work streams.
  • Ensure agreed deliverables are in line with milestones, deadlines, and budget.
  • Work with stakeholders, including third parties and vendors, to manage scope and eliminate cost overruns.
  • Provide regular project reporting and updates to key stakeholders.
  • Revising plans based on changing needs, requirements, or circumstances.
  • Evaluate project performance and contribute to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record of being a self-starter who can also work collaboratively.
  • Experience of managing projects, excellent organisational skills, and ability to schedule tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to assess information, identify key issues, and clearly explain concerns and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to present information in a clear, concise, comprehensive, and convincing manner.
  • High degree of ICT literacy, including using standard project management and MS Office tools.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development.
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in Irish.
  • Experience with ICT testing and development of new functionality.
