Production Excellence Manager

The Production Manager is accountable for overseeing the manufacturing process to meet production targets in a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and quality-driven manner.
Leveraging strategic leadership, this role drives continuous improvement, ensures compliance with industry regulations, and fosters a culture of excellence within the production team.
- Schedule Management: Plan and control production schedules to align with customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day production operations, including workforce performance, machinery efficiency, and material flow.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (output, efficiency, downtime, scrap, OEE, etc.) and implement corrective actions to optimize production.
Compliance with health and safety standards, as well as environmental and quality requirements, are essential aspects of this role. Implementing lean manufacturing methodologies and driving continuous improvement initiatives will also be key responsibilities.
This position requires strong leadership and people management skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability, knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, and experience working with Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role, is necessary for success in this position.
