As a Plant Equipment Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment and auxiliary services through both proactive and reactive maintenance strategies.

Your primary focus will be on providing efficient and effective maintenance solutions to minimize downtime and maximize production output.

You will work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensure compliance with safety standards, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

">Key Responsibilities">

  2. Reactive Maintenance: Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.">
  3. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.">
  4. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all company policies, including food safety and health & safety standards.">
  5. System Updates: Accurately record work and manage inventory using our maintenance management system.">
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.">
  7. Problem Solving: Diagnose faults and develop effective solutions to maintain production flow.">
  8. Work Order Execution: Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.">

  • ">
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, National Craft Certificate or equivalent.">
  • Relevant multiskilled engineering experience/qualification.">
  • Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment.">
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.">
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.">
  • Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.">
