As a Plant Equipment Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment and auxiliary services through both proactive and reactive maintenance strategies.
">Your primary focus will be on providing efficient and effective maintenance solutions to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
">You will work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensure compliance with safety standards, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
">In this role, you will have opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as improve your problem-solving abilities.
">Key Responsibilities">- ">
- Reactive Maintenance: Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.">
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.">
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all company policies, including food safety and health & safety standards.">
- System Updates: Accurately record work and manage inventory using our maintenance management system.">
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.">
- Problem Solving: Diagnose faults and develop effective solutions to maintain production flow.">
- Work Order Execution: Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.">

- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, National Craft Certificate or equivalent.">
- Relevant multiskilled engineering experience/qualification.">
- Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment.">
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.">
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.">
- Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.">
