Job Title: Environmental Technical Administrator

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. They will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Environmental Manager with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure environmental regulations are met and submit mandatory regulatory reports.
  • Keep precise records of permits, waste transfer notes, emissions logs, and water/energy usage.
  • Support the Environmental Manager with permit renewals, inspections, and audits.
  • Collect and validate environmental monitoring data, track performance metrics, and generate reports for senior management and regulators.
  • Assist in developing dashboards and metrics to monitor environmental performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including procedures, risk assessments, and training records.
  • Organize and prepare for audits, ensuring records are available and compliant.
  • Support incident reporting, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking.
  • Contribute to achieving ISO 14001 or equivalent environmental management system certification.

Responsibilities include:

Environmental Compliance & Reporting:

Data Management & Analysis:
  • Collect and validate environmental monitoring data.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for senior management and regulators.
Administration & Documentation:
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including procedures, risk assessments, and training records.
  • Organize and prepare for audits, ensuring records are available and compliant.
Sustainability & Continuous Improvement:
  • Support environmental projects, such as waste minimization, energy reduction, and recycling initiatives.
  • Assist in promoting awareness campaigns and training across the site.
