Health and Safety Professional

Job Title:
We are seeking a proactive Health and Safety Professional to join our team. As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will provide visible health and safety leadership and direction to the project and be part of the company-wide health and safety team to implement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections.
- Maintain records of statutory inspections for all activities and plant equipment.
- Deliver health and safety induction programmes for new employees or contractors on site.
- Organise and chair safety meetings for staff and sub-contractor personnel.
- Evaluate and assist with sub-contractor safety statements and method statements.
- Advise management in drafting and communicating method statements.
- Investigate accidents and handle statutory notifications.
- Perform risk assessments and implement measures to reduce risks.
- Oversee health, safety, and welfare risk management, incident reporting, and investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting information to different audiences at project and business unit levels.
