We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable members of our community.

Job Description:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in peoples lives by providing personal care and assistance to elderly clients, individuals with intellectual disabilities, or those requiring homecare support. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring and supporting clients physical and emotional well-being, and maintaining accurate records of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients
  • Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, feeding, and mobility support
  • Monitor and support clients physical and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided
  • Support clients with social and recreational activities, promoting independence and dignity
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide high-quality care

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
  • Full, clean drivers license (for roles that require travel between clients homes)
  • Previous experience in elderly care, homecare, or intellectual disabilities is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a person-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and a strong commitment to providing high standards of care
