Site Management Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled site manager to oversee the delivery of large infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing construction works and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and administer civil/structural construction works on site, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor, measure, inspect, and report on works being carried out to employer's requirements, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist the employer's representative in technical and contractual matters, including review of method statements and contractor's engineering proposals.
  • Prepare regular site progress reports with other resident staff regarding quality and programme, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Monitor contractor's works for compliance with safety health and welfare regulations, taking corrective action as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience on site, supervising large infrastructure works, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with bridges and administering contracts, including knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of H&S legislation and regulations, with current Safe Pass and other relevant safety qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and team working abilities, with ability to define problem issues, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • IT skills and familiarity with computer applications, including project management software.
