Nurse Triage Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a registered nurse to work as a Nurse Triage Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing remote assessments using digital health platforms and AI-enabled tools to categorize patients and determine the urgency of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform remote triage assessments using digital health platforms, telehealth protocols, and contactless vital signs monitoring
  • Use AI-enabled tools and structured pathways to categorize patients and determine the urgency of care
  • Educate patients on self-management strategies and provide guidance on treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary virtual teams to ensure safe patient flow
  • Document clinical decisions in line with regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • ED or acute care background essential (ED, MAU, urgent care settings)
  • Demonstrated experience in telecare or remote nursing roles (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Familiarity with digital documentation and video triage
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and decision-making skills

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience
  • Registered General Nurse (NMBI)
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Essential Background: ED, Acute Care
  • Desirable Experience: Telecare, Remote Nursing Roles
