Remote Observation Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled nurse to join our virtual care team in Dublin. This exciting opportunity involves working in a remote monitoring unit, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting remote initial assessments of patients admitted to the remote monitoring unit, using digital health platforms and telehealth protocols. They will identify suitable care plans from the platform and modify them according to individual patient needs. The nurse will also monitor patients' conditions via contactless vital signs app and video consultations with patients as prescribed by the ED consultant or ARNP. In addition, they will escalate changes in patient condition to ARNP/ED Consultant in a timely manner in line with clinical governance protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered General Nurse (NMBI) with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • ED or acute care background essential
  • Demonstrated experience in telecare or remote nursing roles
  • Familiarity with digital tools for documentation, remote monitoring, or video triage
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and independent decision-making skills
