Job Description:

As a Medical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and their families during times of need. Your compassion, empathy, and expertise will help individuals navigate complex medical situations, providing comfort and guidance throughout the process.

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • CORU Registration: Possess current CORU registration as a Medical Social Worker.
  • Experience: Gain valuable experience working in a hospital setting, particularly with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of local and national issues affecting medical social work and the healthcare sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent report writing skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
