Job Description

Dairygold is a globally recognized leader in the production of high-quality premium cheese and dairy ingredients. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our Central Laboratory team in Mitchelstown, Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate results are returned to operations and quality functions, enabling compliance with food safety, legal, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to Health & Safety guidelines throughout the laboratory.
  • Analysis of samples according to relevant test plans, ensuring good documentation and laboratory practices.
  • Active participation in daily workgroup team meetings.
  • Contribution to continuous improvement, investigations, internal audits, and problem resolution.
  • Calibration checks and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Verification of accuracy of testing/instrumentation.
  • Stock and consumable control and monitoring.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Third-level qualification in a relevant scientific field.
  • 1 year's experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in food or pharmaceutical analysis.
  • Proficiency in software packages, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proven record of achievement.
  • Attention to detail.
