Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Cork City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and auditing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role of the Accountant is to provide high-quality accounting services for a portfolio of clients, including preparation of financial statements, conducting audits, and providing tax advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff and promoting a positive organisational culture.

The Accountant will work closely with our directors to win new business and deliver exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to build a career in a dynamic and growing organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or in progress
  • 3+ years general accounting practice experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients
  • Commercially minded with a clear perception of client requirements
  • Confident and professional
