About the Role

This role involves working as a Financial Center position focused on using the consultative sales process to proactively identify and meet the financial needs of customers or prospects.

  • Acquire new households and deepen existing customer relationships through activities like lobby leadership, aisle time, and tele-consulting
  • Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff
  • Risk management by following policies, procedures, and elevating concerns, always aiming to do the right thing for customers and colleagues

The ideal candidate will have a college degree, work experience, or a combination thereof. Experience in the financial industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs
  3. Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions
  4. Utilize CAMP and other marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews
  5. Focus on cross-selling to existing customers and outside sales activities such as community events and business calls
  6. Establish relationships with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) and refer customers when appropriate
  7. Meet/exceed customer experience and sales goals, contributing to revenue growth
  8. Guide CSRs in sales and referral processes
  9. Promote customer satisfaction with professionalism and helpfulness
  10. Own customer issues and answer questions confidently
  11. Maintain confidentiality and act ethically at all times
  12. Follow policies for opening and servicing Retail products
  13. Participate in loan and bankcard processes from application to closing
  14. Assist in opening/closing the Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed
  15. Stay updated on procedures to prevent fraud and manage risks
