Seeking a skilled EH Specialist to drive Environmental Health and Safety initiatives forward.

Job Description

A career-defining opportunity for an experienced professional in EHS. We seek a highly qualified EH Specialist with technical expertise to enhance site safety compliance, leveraging industry best practices and corporate guidelines.

This critical role will oversee ongoing projects, providing expert guidance on high-risk work programs and contractor management while ensuring seamless adherence to regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical SME support in General Safety and High Risk Work Programs.
  • SME support in Environmental Programs (Air, water, waste).
  • Provide expert safety support for new projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local teams, conduct audits and inspections, incident investigations, and other safety programs as required.
  • EHS representative for risk assessments, change management impact assessments, training delivery, and contractor management.
  • Assess and audit EHS processes and systems against global safety and environment standards.
  • Report weekly KPIs to management and department teams on EHS objectives/targets.

As a respected leader in EH culture, you will demonstrate the ability to influence others, showcase strong knowledge of safety programs, and excel as a convincing communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of EHS experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S and Environmental Legislation.
  • Experience in managing high-risk work programs, contractor management, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Proven success in EHS roles, influencing others, and analyzing complex problems to facilitate resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
