Job Title: Industrial Automation Specialist

Job Description:

  • Install, maintain, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot fully automated warehousing systems at customer sites.
  • Provide responsive telephone and on-site support.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to maintain seven-day cover for key customers.
  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting issues in corrective maintenance.
  • Liaise with the office team and other staff members.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance at customer sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years' electrical and mechanical field service experience; relevant experience as a Technician/Engineer essential.
  • Qualification via training, diploma, degree, or a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant field; a degree or equivalent in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering preferred.
  • IT, networking, and PC-based diagnostics and repair skills advantageous.
  • Capable of working independently at customer sites.
  • IT literate with familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong safety mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Technically minded problem solver with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Full, clean driving licence essential.
