Senior Packaging Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Senior Packaging Operations Manager plays a vital role in optimizing packaging efficiency, resolving complex challenges, and analyzing data to drive business outcomes. This senior professional collaborates with cross-functional teams, oversees project management, and mentors junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the packaging process to ensure seamless execution and quality control
- Oversee the assembly of finished components or parts into finished products, adhering to strict quality standards
- Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the packaging department to maintain regulatory compliance
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Analyze and resolve complex problems related to packaging and production, applying analytical and problem-solving skills
- Evaluate and improve sanitation practices and quality control measures to minimize defects and waste
- Develop and implement projects, represent company values, and liaise with senior stakeholders to foster collaboration and communication
- Degree in a Life Sciences field or relevant industry experience
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an asset
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in lead PM roles within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proficiency in project management processes and procedures, including Gantt charts and resource allocation
- In-depth understanding of GMP procedures and practices, including quality control and assurance
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
- Able to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stress situations
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions
- Familiarity with API processes and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex compliance requirements
