Accounting Trainee

We are seeking a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to embark on a career in financial reporting for investment funds. This is an exceptional opportunity to kickstart your accounting career and gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed financial statements, disclosures, and supporting Excel schedules.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as investment managers, administrators, and auditors to ensure seamless communication.
  • Present outputs to senior team members for review and feedback.
  • Assist with IFRS, FRS 102, and US GAAP reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Help manage various compliance tasks, including general filings and regulatory systems support.
Training & Support:
  • Comprehensive support toward ACA or ACCA qualification, including exam fees, tuition, and professional membership costs.
  • Flexible study and exam leave arrangements.
  • A structured 3.5-year training contract with clear progression and mentoring opportunities.
  • Early exposure to global clients, offering international reporting experience and skills development.
Candidate Profile:
  • Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP accounting frameworks is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, motivated, and open to learning and growth.
  • Legally entitled to live and work in Ireland.
