At Verizon, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Commercial Resale and New Products category strategy. As Associate Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive business growth and transformation.
You will collaborate closely with key business partners to understand their priorities and challenges, assess their needs on an ongoing basis, and manage their expectations. You will partner with our business stakeholders to develop and implement Category Sourcing strategies, driving all aspects of the complex strategic sourcing process.
As a leader, you will ensure that sourcing strategies result in and generate roadmaps of savings and value streams, and where appropriate, innovation opportunities. You will negotiate planning and contracting with suppliers, ensuring that agreements reflect Verizon's needs globally.
You will develop Category savings roadmap, maintain and track value. You will execute supplier relationship management activities, effectively maintaining positive and ethical working relationships. You will leverage market dynamics and mitigating risk.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and extensive experience in indirect sourcing. They will have proven ability to drive change and transformation, with strong negotiation skills and value management practices.
