About the Role:

  • The post holder will be responsible for the planning and provision of high-quality psychological services across the business.
  • This includes assessment, review, programme implementation, diagnostics, and promoting and delivering services within the company ethos and philosophy.
  • The successful candidate will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing an integrated and coordinated service to clients.
  • They will also provide advice/support programmes and training for staff, parents, and families.
  • Statistical records and input to service reports and other relevant reports will be maintained by the post holder.
  • They will participate actively in general development of the service and ensure that professional standards are maintained.
  • Maintaining quality standards within the service and participating in quality development is also a key responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a recognized professional post-graduate qualification in clinical psychology.
  • Clinical graduates in the process of completing their post-graduate qualification in clinical or counseling psychologist are welcome to apply.
  • Qualification must be validated by the Department of Health, or validation letter needs to be included with the application.
  • All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in working in a service for individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and/or Mental Health difficulties is desirable.
  • Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
