Health and Safety Manager Job Opportunity

About the Role
  • Lead the implementation of site health and safety strategy in line with corporate objectives and legal requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all levels of the workforce.
  • Develop and provide coaching and mentorship to safety officers, supervisors, and line managers to enhance their skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety regulations through effective risk management practices.
  • Oversight of daily H&S activities across production, warehousing, utilities, and maintenance areas to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead internal safety audits and prepare the site for regulatory and corporate inspections to minimize risks and ensure compliance.

Training and Engagement:

Promote employee engagement in safety committees, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement projects to foster a culture of safety and well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial setting.
