About this role:
Job SummaryThis is a dynamic opportunity for a highly motivated and organized professional to join our Legal team as an Assistant Corporate Secretary. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the corporate secretary team with the publication of Board and Committee meeting materials and communications.
- Support the corporate secretary team in delivering a fit-for-purpose meeting administration process.
- Attend Board and Committee meetings and draft meeting minutes or specific sections.
- Create and prepare various documents, including agendas, resolutions, materials, minutes, attendance registers.
- Organize and maintain Board and Committee and other governance-related documentation databases.
- Maintain legal entity corporate governance information up to date.
- Contribute to improving team processes, procedures, and controls.
- Maintain statutory registers and internal record-keeping systems.
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a financial services environment in a company secretarial or administrative capacity is preferred.
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Systematic and organized approach to workload.
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
