Key Corporate Governance Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled corporate governance lawyer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to take on a lead role in managing our corporate governance matters and overseeing intellectual property and technology transactions.

About the Role

  • This position involves leading the preparation of corporate governance documents, such as board minutes, resolutions, and presentations.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, assessing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, software licenses, SaaS subscription agreements, service contracts, employment agreements, and consulting contracts.
  • You will assess legal risks associated with products, features, platforms, and initiatives, and develop effective risk management strategies.
  • Our ideal candidate will provide guidance to product, engineering, and other teams, identifying and protecting patentable products, services, and technologies.
  • They will maintain a repository of legal documents updated, including contracts, templates, and corporate governance materials.
  • Overseeing owned and licensed intellectual property, collaborating with external legal counsel on trademark and patent applications, and other IP matters.
  • Assisting with company compliance efforts and handling litigation matters as needed.
  • Communicating and collaborating with external legal counsel on legal matters when necessary.
