Job Opportunity: Structural Heart Device Technician

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and improve next-generation heart valve devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Device Development: Assist in designing, testing, and validating medical device components and equipment.
  • Test Planning: Participate in planning, executing, and analyzing test results to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, receive and store equipment, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prototype Development: Collaborate on the creation and refinement of R&D prototypes across multiple product lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Diploma (Level 7 NFQ minimum) in Engineering or Science.
  • Experience: 1–2 years' experience in a medical device, lab, or operations setting.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with test methods, lab/test equipment, and technical documentation.
