Key Responsibilities- Perform on-site troubleshooting, repairs, and fault-finding for wind turbines.
- Analyse data to support action plans that increase fleet availability.
- Implement on-site performance analysis and action plan implementation.
- Work with technicians and back office staff to perform on-the-job demonstrations.
- Support on-site improvements for individual turbines.
- Provide software and hardware updates.
- Offer technical support online and via phone.
- Create reports on turbine performance.
- Mechanical or electrical training via time-served or technical college qualification.
- Experience in mechanical/electrical industries with ability to read diagrams.
- Ability to identify problems, extract information from technical data, and develop workable solutions.
- Computer literacy with MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Ability to work at heights (up to 100m) and pass a height safety test.
- Fully licensed driver.
