Job Title: Turbine Technician
">We are seeking a skilled Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our wind turbines.
">Job DescriptionThe primary role of the Turbine Technician is to perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades of mechanical and electrical components. You will work closely with other technicians and support staff to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
">- Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of mechanical and electrical components.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues with wind turbines.
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to plan and execute maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures when working at heights or in confined spaces.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly as they relate to wind turbine technology.
- Experience working at heights and in confined spaces, with a proven ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other technicians and support staff.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly (up to 50% of the time).
