**Job Opportunity:** MEP Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking estimating duties independently and reporting to the management team in the delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimating: Preparation of development budgets and feasibility appraisals, implementation of value management and value engineering, and preparation of estimates including system take-offs, material take-offs, and building-up rates from first principles for all MEP installations.
  • Financial Management: Preparing financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
  • Project Support: Implementation of whole life cycle and carbon assessment and analysis, operation of cost management systems, and compliance with quality, environmental, and health and safety management systems.

Requirements:
Education: Postgraduate certificate or degree in MEP quantity surveying or engineering.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in MEP estimating in a consultancy or contracting environment, supporting commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical construction projects.
Skill: Proficiency in using common office programs and IT, preferably with experience in digital take-off software, BIM, and life cycle analysis/carbon assessment software. Ability to work proactively within project teams and have commercially and contractually focused skills. Technical knowledge of MEP installations with ability to identify, critically appraise/evaluate, measure, and describe MEP installations for cost estimating and tender documents.
