MRI Service Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced radiographer to manage the MRI service in the Western Isles. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as we establish and develop this new service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the work of the MRI suite.
  • Liaise with other departments, staff groups, and patients to provide a comprehensive and effective service.

Requirements:
  • Registration with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
  • Demonstrated understanding of realistic medicine and its impact on radiology.

Benefits:
  • Distant Islands Allowance: £1,349 per annum.
  • Relocation package: up to £8,000.
  • On-call duties may be required; on-call pay is in addition to base salary.
  • 37 hours per week; permanent (fixed-term or secondment considered).
  • Location: Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
