Job Summary:

The Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer plays a pivotal role in leading the development and delivery of services within the MRI Department, focusing on patient care and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to MRI staff across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to hospital standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, protocols, and guidelines to optimize resource utilization and facilitate systematic auditing.
  • Offer expert advice on equipment selection, purchase, replacement, or upgrading to ensure alignment with departmental needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Radiography Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • CORU registration is mandatory, with a minimum of 5 years of experience desired but not essential.
  • Postgraduate Diploma/Master in MRI is highly desirable.

  • Leadership in developing and delivering services that enhance patient care and experience.
  • Effective management of an equipment management program.
