
Therapy Professional Lead

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate senior occupational therapist to join our team at Excel Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with children (0-18 years) who have physical, sensory, and learning disabilities, autism, and developmental delay.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, planning, intervention, and review of occupational therapy programmes tailored to children and families.
- Provide needs-based, outcome-focused care guided by the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care and goal setting.
- Maintain professional standards in assessment, documentation, reporting, and service delivery.
- Uphold best practice in line with HSE policies, HIQA standards, and Progressing Disabilities Programme.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in practice and the workplace.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (for Senior roles).
- Membership (or eligibility) of the Irish Association of Occupational Therapists (IAOT).
