Homeless Services Project Worker

Clients requiring support are referred to the service, where they undergo assessments and receive intensive assistance with sourcing accommodation. Key working enables clients to access local services, including medical, welfare, education, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client referrals and assessment
  • Accommodation sourcing and support
  • Key working for client access to services
  • Practical support and assistance
  • Health, safety, and welfare support
  • Service development and improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in vulnerable communities
  • Third-level qualification (level 8) in social care or CORU registered social worker
  • Commitment to COPE Galway's vision, mission, and values
  • Understanding of homelessness and complex needs
  • Integrity and professional relationships
