Job Title:

Supporting Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to adults with intellectual disabilities, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Support with daily living tasks, including mobility and communication
  • Assist with therapy sessions and activities to promote independence and well-being
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • QQI Level 5 major award in a relevant qualification (e.g., Physiotherapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant)
  • Previous experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities or similar settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
