Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Biopharmaceutical organization in Ireland. As an Associate Analytical Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting laboratory operations and contributing to lab establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support equipment qualification, documentation generation, and troubleshooting of laboratory studies.
  • Review, trend, and report laboratory data to support batch data generation and end-of-quarter/year reports.
  • Maintain and release laboratory stock, order consumables as required.
  • Manage routine cleans of laboratory equipment and ensure laboratory housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Respond to requests from partners, customers, and clients, escalating to manager when necessary.
  • Participate in functional meetings, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and support audits.
  • Introduce novel solutions, test biologics within the facility, and build team effectiveness skills.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree qualification (Biological Sciences/Engineering) with background in microbiology.
  • 1-3 years experience in academic or industry field, including internships and student placements.
  • Knowledge of biologics manufacturing, microbiological testing techniques, and laboratory systems (LIMS, E-logs, MODA, electronic notebooks).
  • Familiarity with GMP, USP, EP, JP requirements.
